Rocky: I believe Him because I know Him, He speaks, and He authors my faith--and that's why my faith is substance (reality as opposed to concept) and evidence (absolute proof and certainty). They insist that they don't know God exists, but they don't know this. They only claim it. In reality, they know, but they suppress this knowledge in their unrighteousness and refuse to acknowledge Him, but they're without excuse.
Sandy: Your comment makes no sense; "they insist they don't know God exists, but they don't know this." Double negative. We claim it? Perhaps you've never spoken to an Atheist who has enough clarity or knowledge to explain it. We don't believe in your god. We don't believe in any god. You say we suppress the knowledge of god in our unrighteousness and refuse to acknowledge because we are without excuse. First off, we don't need an excuse; there is NO factually based evidence; not scientific and not historical for the basis of your claim. You have "feelings" and emotions and use this as your evidence. That's fine for you, but you can't assume that all atheists are completely evil. Do you believe in Zeus? In Dagon? In Hadod? Could you be made to believe that there is intelligent life on other planets? That people have been abducted my aliens?
Rocky: It makes no sense to be an Atheist, but my statement makes perfect sense, since it’s based on a true premise. Ungodly people all have an inner conflict and are in denial of reality. God has revealed Himself to them, so He says they know. Yet, He says they refuse to acknowledge it, so He turns them over to their own useless minds.
Sandy: Yet you answered not one of my questions. You are either ignorant or just contrary with no evidence of what you say. Bless your heart. Here's the thing...I am not conflicted. I was a Christian for many years under "solid" biblical teachers. When I began to question the inaccuracies and contradictions of the bible, I was told not to question (big red flag). So, I began to study on my own, and then under scholars, both in class and under intense private tutelage. There are mountains of evidence to show that you are incorrect.....so again, you are either "hooked on a feeling" or just pathetically unwilling to answer my questions.
Rocky: Funny you should talk about proof. Proof that's not proven isn't proof at all. It's just blowing smoke. How do you prove your proof without relying on made-up stuff? In other words, to interpret any experience or observation, where do you get the information you need to make such an interpretation?
It also seems that you are claiming that I don't know Christ personally. For that claim, where is your proof, and how do your prove your proof?
Sandy: The proof that the Bible is incorrect lies in science, anthropology, written history. I am not claiming that you don't know Christ, I am claiming that you have no answers for the inaccuracies and contradictions in the Bible. I am also claiming that it is phenomenally ignorant for anyone to assume the beliefs of others… As in, you claim, without engaging in any real discussion, the atheists inwardly do believe in your God.
Rocky: You have no way to prove your so-called proof. It's phantom proof. And the so-called “inaccuracies and contradictions in the Bible” are based on the same phantom proof that’s based on made-up stuff.
Sandy: Okay, it is evident that you are uneducated on both the bible and on Atheistic beliefs. Just as the Wiccan believes in fairies, Buddhists believe in pretas, and many Icelandic people believe in elves, you believe in a being that is fictional. Bless your heart.
Rocky: That was a really subtle claim of a universal negative. If you know anything about logic, you'll realize that you just claimed to be all-knowing.
Sandy’s Helper: What is your evidence for the existence of God?
Rocky: You mean, how does God prove Himself to me? Or are you asking how you can personally know Him and know that He is real?
Sandy’s Helper: I mean empirical evidence.
Rocky: Empirical means by experience/experiment. Evidence means absolute proof and certainty. There's only one way to have either of those: divine revelation. Do you know of another without committing the ontic fallacy?
But you didn't answer my question. Do you want an explanation of how God gives me this empirical evidence, or do you want to know Jesus Christ in a way that you can have this empirical evidence for yourself?
Note: This was followed by some vulgarity, an ad hominem attack, “How about you shut your (not printable) up?”, an epithet, and a bare assertion (made-up stuff). Notice how often ungodly people rely on personal attacks like “it is evident that you are uneducated” or “You are either ignorant or just contrary with no evidence of what you say.” There’s no hope of sane thinking for the ungodly thinker.
